Pandemic fears lead to Sabbath peace

I work as a medical patient transporter. This was not a career I ever wanted to be a part of, for I spent the previous 25 years developing video games. You could say I was "tech savvy" and wanted to stay that way. However, God had a different course for me. After the financial collapse and various other trials, I became financially bankrupt in 2016. I started looking for work in areas not familiar to me and God led me to what I do now.

Then in 2020 at the height of the global Covid pandemic, I knew this had to be a sign of the end times. I was scared. While everyone was on lock down and people dying all around me, I was still working, transporting sick and dying people to and from the area hospitals. I prayed to God for guidance and safety. That is when I found Pastor Doug and Amazing Facts online. I started keeping the Sabbath and slowly I started seeing and feeling change in my life.

Long story short, Pastor Doug and others at Amazing Facts pointed me in the right direction and now I am able to spread God's truth with many of the patients I transport. It has helped me to become closer to the Lord and has blessed me in so many ways. THANK YOU AMAZING FACTS!

Readjusted Work Schedule to Keep the Sabbath

These Study Guides were easy reading and to the point. They are truly a lifesaver for me- I feel like a new person...Thanks again for letting me study with these Study Guides-- it's brought me one step closer to God. I know the rest is my choice and I am willing to give my life to Him.

In doing so I started praying again, I reopen my dusty Bible again. I even follow the diet plan where I quit eating pork, seafood, even left the caffeine behind. As for the Sabbath, I readjusted my work schedule to accommodate my dedication to Him. I really don't think there's enough words to express my gratitude for letting me find the truth.

Work Challenges Keeping Sabbath

I must say you all have been a blessing. My life has changed ... me and my live in boyfriend got married, and I am now a Sabbath keeper. I am a 911 call-taker for Washington. DC and basically I might become jobless because they refuse to give me Saturdays off. For the past month I’ve been taking off by putting in my leave or calling in sick. Eventually something is going to have to give.

Trying to get Sabbaths off at Work
