Starting to observe Sabbath on Saturday

Praise God. All these years, I've been blind-folded. As Protestant-born, I am starting to observe Sabbath on Saturday, come what may. Thanks for opening my eyes though at 40 years of age.

Found By Accident

I found your ministry on TV by accident one day and it's made such a big difference in how I have become spiritually. Being raised Catholic but going to a large Christian Church here in Lexington for the past few years and also watching other different TV ministers (some very popular) I have learned so much more from watching Amazing Facts and Pastor Doug than all the other ministers I've heard and watched over my lifetime. After reading the facts on SabbathTruth.com I'm now celebrating the Sabbath on Saturday just like God wants us to do. I'm always very enthusiastic to see what the next program will be about. Have learned about the true Sabbath

I am a born again Christian. I was baptized and received the gift of the HOLY GHOST. I used to smoke Mary J, drink, curse, and live immorally but now after I received power from on high by GOD's grace through faith, I am striving to live a sanctified and Christ-like life. In Matthew 6:33 but seek ye first the kingdom of GOD, and HIS righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I pray daily for the LORD to strengthen my faith in my walk with HIM, also to strengthen my spirit to overcome the weakness of my flesh. I am thankful to GOD to have linked me to your website, I am learning so much about Bible prophecy, even though I read Revelation, Daniel, and Jeremiah with little understanding, but since the LORD exposed me to your website, I have learned about the true Sabbath which is Saturday which most true followers of JESUS CHRIST failed to recognize according to the HOLY Scriptures.

16-year old son was able to share Bible texts about the Sabbath

I just finished watching your program on safe tv today regarding the ten commandments. How in some circles they do not believe they are relevant anymore. I just wanted to let you know our 16 year old son has listened to your programs and when a friend of his questioned his belief in the Sabbath he was able to give all the right texts to back up his beliefs.

He did such a good job that the parents of this friend could not refute his findings and would not allow this friend to talk to him anymore. Thank you for always giving bible texts. ...You are doing a wonderful work even in young people's lives.

Always wondered about the Sabbath

These lessons have meant a lot to me. I have always wondered why people went to church on Sunday's instead of keeping the Sabbath on Saturday. These lessons helped my understand the question that I always wanted to know and I praise the Lord for opening my eyes to the truth. I am surrendering my heart and life to Jesus Christ.

Previously had no knowledge about the Sabbath

The lessons have been so important to my daily walk with Christ. Through these wonderful teachings I have accepted the call of "truly" honoring the Sabbath Day. I understand the Sabbath now and the principles GOD teaches us by obeying, honoring and keeping the Sabbath. I had no sincere knowledge of this before taking the courses.

Yes my life has been enriched for the greater and I have committed myself to reading the entire Bible for one year. The lessons are always enlightening, interesting and fun to be a part of. I especially love the test at the end to make sure you grasp what you have been taught. ...My prayer is that I will continue to be "GODS Leading Lady". Pray that I continue to stand in adversity and stand for Jesus no matter what the cost. So Happy to Know the Truth

These online lessons have been a blessing to me. Not only do I watch the video of the lesson, and read, I study my bible for the answers. I am praying more, and I am reading my bible everyday. I started out looking up scriptures that were given in the lessons, then found myself reading chapters, I was wanting to know what else was said. Its like I cannot get enough of reading and studying my bible. I asked God to help me understand His Word, and I was listening to the radio and there was your radio program.

How can I explain what a joy I am having, its like finding valuable treasures in the scriptures. Information I did not know was there. I am so happy God has led me to this website. God Bless You All. I liked the information, the truth that was given because I could search for the answers in my bible. I did not know that the Sabbath was on a Saturday, nor did I know how important it is to God. I know now, and I am so happy I do, and I thank God.

Was Steeped in Tradition

Since studying these lessons, I have a greater understanding of the Book of Revelation and Daniel. ... I have experienced a deeper friendship with Jesus. It has almost been a year since the Lord has lead me into observing the true Sabbath. Completing these lessons has made me realize how blind I was.

I have known for a while that the true Sabbath is Saturday and not Sunday but I was so steeped in tradition that it never dawned on me that I was living a disobedient life. It is so profound how God leads and reveals things to us in our search for a greater understanding of his Word. I never would have guessed in a thousand years that the mark of the beast was related to the observing of the Sunday worship. I've never heard end time prophecy explained the way it was explained in these lessons.

Former LDS, Now Christian Sabbath-keepers

My wife Usha and I spent 2 months, 30-40 hours a week, in research and found that both scripturally and historically the Sabbath is on Saturday / 7th day. Then we put John 7:17 to the test and proved it beyond any doubt and love it as our favorite day of the week.

We were very committed LDS having served several missions, as branch president and many other callings in Utah including teaching LDS theology for more than 30 years. I am related to both Brigham Young and Joseph Smith and so it was a great change for us and one that had many costs but the truth is always worth it and we joy in Christ.

We were baptized a year ago after studying in depth 15-20 hours per week with our pastor in Utah for months.

Learned the Sabbath Truth Through In-Depth Bible Study

I've been a Catholic for 19 years of my life and have just been understanding the truth of the Bible prior to this course. Now Resting and Worshiping on the Sabbath

I have finished the 27 lessons and i am only disappointed in the fact that I am Finished! Thank You for allowing me to participate in these studies. I sincerely feel as if my knowledge has been increased. In fact because of the prompting of the Holy Spirit, I have begun to worship / Rest on the Sabbath (sundown friday-sundown saturday) and i no longer eat/or will eat when released these things God has called unclean. Shocked by Sabbath Truth

My name is Annette, I found this lesson shocking, in that I mean, I have read and studied the bible for years and my practice was to go and worship Jesus on Sunday, but now that a friend of mine pointed out the Sabbath and now that I have studied it I found that I am not keeping all of the commandments. I guess I wasn't quite getting an understanding of the Sabbath but now I do. This has changed my way of worshiping our Lord and my day from Sunday to Saturday. I will be finding a church that practices the Sabbath and continue my growth in the bible and the Lord. I anxious for the next lesson.

After reading one of the Study Guides, that said the Sabbath is the Lord’s holy day, I was in shock!...I was raised to observe Sunday as a holy day. In turn I raised my children the same way. I haven’t said anything to the 2 that are here at home with me and to the others who have left and gotten married. What a mess!

Still Learning at 70

I have learned so much from these studies. I’m 70 yrs. old and had to unlearn everything right from the beginning like a child. But it didn’t take long before I could see the truth. XM Radio Broadcast Leads to Bible Studies

My day started like any other day, I received a call and needed to drive to Cadillac MI. So I got in my Truck, turned on the XM radio and headed out. Halfway to Cadillac, the XM radio stopped, I remember thinking, "Great now what do I do", so I started scanning through the FM stations in an effort to find something.

That's when I came across Amazing Facts. I listened to the entire program and everything that followed. Shortly after, I started the Amazing Facts online Bible studies, and through the word of God, and the Holy Spirit I found a love for Jesus, its one thing to say you love Jesus, but to really feel that love is a blessing. God also guided me to the doors of a Sabbath-keeping church in Midland Mi. Where I’m attending church and continuing my Bible studies.
