Remember …

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: Exodus 20:8-9

“‘Remember’ is placed at the very first of the Fourth Commandment. Parents, you need to remember the Sabbath day yourselves to keep it holy. And if you do this, you are giving the proper instruction to your children; they will reverence God’s holy day.”

Sabbath Tip
Why do you think God said ‘Remember’? Could it be because He knew that the cares, distractions, and deceptions of this life would tend to make us forget and drift away from Him? None of us can afford to forget the Sabbath. We desperately need that sacred time to bond with our Savior and receive spiritual renewal and strength from Him.
