Your Sabbath Questions Answered

Does Sabbath keeping really affect me personally?
The Bible says: “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15).

“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” (Romans 14:12).

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” (James 4:17).

“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:14).

Yes, by all means, the Sabbath is your Sabbath. God made it for you, and if you love Him you will keep it, because it is one of His commandments. Love without commandment-keeping is not love at all (1 John 2:4). Jesus died Friday afternoon and rose Sunday morning, meaning He even kept the Sabbath in His death! In addition, the Sabbath was so important to Jesus’ apostles that they would not even finish preparing His body for burial until after the Sabbath was past.

The Scriptures teach we will continue to keep God’s Sabbath in the new earth (Isaiah 66:23)! So you must make a decision. You will have to answer on this most important matter. God wants you to receive the blessings of the Sabbath, so choose to obey Him now!
